U.S. Travel Hires Tyler Gosnell as Managing Director, International Inbound Travel
New role bolsters association’s expertise and focus on increasing inbound travel

The U.S. Travel Association announced today that global destination executive Tyler Gosnell has joined in a newly created role as Managing Director, International Inbound Travel.
“As we hone our focus on the critical international inbound travel segment ahead of a mega-decade of sporting events, U.S. Travel is excited to bring aboard Tyler Gosnell, one of the nation’s leading experts in the space,” said Geoff Freeman, President and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association. “Tyler’s enthusiasm, expertise, global contacts and success in industry collaborations will advance our pursuit of inbound market growth.”
In his new role, Gosnell will coalesce the leading players in the international inbound segment, identify new opportunities to grow the market and seek methods to enhance U.S. Travel’s value to its members. Gosnell will also leverage his expertise to continually strengthen U.S. Travel’s IPW international trade show, among other opportunities to increase this market segment.
“The United States is at the forefront of a tremendous opportunity to restore and expand its market share. I’m eager to partner with industry leaders to develop innovative solutions that strengthen our position and enhance global competitiveness,” Gosnell said.
Gosnell brings substantial experience to his role at U.S. Travel. He most recently served as Chief Brand and Marketing Officer at Visit Salt Lake, where he led a marketing and travel trade team that was instrumental in expanding international airlift into the state’s gateway airport and championing statewide efforts to secure the 2034 Winter Olympics. Prior to his role in Utah, he was Head of Global Markets for the Royal Commission for AlUla, the luxury-heritage-boutique destination in Saudi Arabia and was Director of International Marketing at Visit California and Director of Global Brand Strategy at San Francisco Travel.
Gosnell holds a degree in business administration from Stevenson University in Maryland.
