ESTO 2021 Opens Registration for Live Event in Los Angeles
PRESS RELEASE May 26, 2021
Washington -
The U.S. Travel Association’s Educational Seminar for Tourism Organizations (ESTO) announced today that registration is open for attendance at its live event, to be held in Los Angeles August 15-17.
ESTO is the nation’s premier educational and networking event for destination marketing professionals.
“After the challenges of this past year, it is incredibly meaningful to convene in person once again for the industry’s premier knowledge-sharing forum for destination marketing professionals,” said U.S. Travel Association President and CEO Roger Dow. “This year’s ESTO will be a guiding light on the industry’s road to recovery, offering valuable learning and networking opportunities for all attendees.”
New this year, ESTO is offering multi-attendee discounts to U.S. Travel members. Attendees can bring a colleague from the same member organization for a reduced rate to maximize participation and expand learnings.
“We are pleased to offer additional opportunities for destination marketers to experience ESTO’s dynamic content geared to reimaging, redefining and reshaping the work of a DMO,” said U.S. Travel Association Senior Vice President of Membership and Industry Relations and ESTO General Manager Nan Marchand Beauvois. “A top-notch lineup of speakers coupled with valuable collaboration with industry colleagues will make ESTO 2021 a can’t-miss event.”
This year’s hosts, Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, Visit California and the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, have also put a premium on maximizing value for ESTO attendees while keeping health and safety at the forefront of planning and managing the event.
“Los Angeles loves a great comeback, so we’re excited to welcome destination marketing professionals from across the country for ESTO 2021. There’s no substitute for the power of in-person meetings, and we look forward to spending valuable time collaborating on the travel industry’s recovery while showcasing what’s new in our City of Angels,” said Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board President and CEO Adam Burke.
“California is the perfect host for this year’s ESTO,” added Visit California President and CEO Caroline Beteta. “With the nation’s largest travel and tourism economy set to fully reopen on June 15, ESTO in Los Angeles will bring professionals face-to-face to celebrate this milestone and focus on the important work that lies ahead for destination marketers.”
The opening of registration also marked the opening of ESTO’s Destiny and Mercury Award submission period. Entries for both categories are due June 25. Award winners will be recognized at the ESTO closing ceremony on Tuesday evening, August 17.
