In her role as Senior Director, Event Content and Education, Bridgett Hebert is responsible for developing and implementing an event content strategy for U.S. Travel’s signature events, as well as the Association’s board meetings, roundtables, and priority programming. She collaborates across the industry to ensure U.S. Travel is delivering engaging and relevant programming for its members. In her previous role at U.S. Travel, she served as Senior Director, Industry Communications and managed all industry-facing communications, such as research and policy materials, executive speaking engagements and social and digital media products.
She joined U.S. Travel from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, as the Senior Director, Strategic Communications where she led communications, campaign development, digital and social media, and event strategy for a portfolio of the Chamber’s advocacy groups. She also successfully launched several key initiatives including the Chamber’s DE&I program and a new storytelling platform highlighting the economic and community impact of businesses—large and small—during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Previously, Bridgett led global communications efforts for Brand USA, the nation’s destination marketing organization. She oversaw a team in promoting the organization’s mission through message alignment, content creation, media outreach, and event logistics. Prior to moving to Washington, D.C., she was a member of the communications team for J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank in New York City.
Bridgett is a graduate of The George Washington University and Susquehanna University. She lives in Oakton, VA with her husband and two children.
